An independent private school in Cranbrook was building a new performing arts theatre block consisting of a 214-seat theatre with full lighting rig and backstage area, dance studio, drama classroom, music centre with 6 practice rooms, a recording studio and a Mac suite – for composition and music technology.

We were approached originally by the architect and then by the main contractor team to design and supply a plant and screen support solution for the roof of the new theatre block. Such design was for a 59 linear metre visual screening with AHU, CU and access within the enclosed area.

Supplied and installed in February 2024, the screen, plant and access solution stands tall protecting the eyeline of the beautiful countryside from the mechanical plant on the roof space, around this fascinating school.
